Sara's love of horror started at a young age. One of her first core memories was seeing the IT miniseries starring Tim Curry, as well as Cujo. From there, she fell in love with the slasher genre when she first saw Scream (1996). Her love of spooky content didn't end there, however, and she continued her love affair with kid-friendly content like Halloweentown and Casper. Sara ran a theater company for several years, working as an actor, stage manager, and playwright professionally for over a decade, including roles in the horror genre. Now she is the co-host of the Dread Alert Podcast and the primary host of Spooky Families, which focuses on spooky and horror content for children ages birth through 17 years old.
